NCUR-2002 Sponge-Safe Thick Hot Melt Glue

Sponge-safe thick hot melt glue is a high-performance PUR adhesive engineered for delicate, porous substrates that ordinary glues tend to bleed through.

Its buttery, high-yield viscosity stays where it is placed, forming a clean, gap-filling bead that will not soak into EVA sheets, open-cell foams or nail-file abrasives. Once activated by heat, the adhesive develops rapid green strength, locking substrates together before they can spring apart, yet keeps a long open time for precise positioning. The flexible, waterproof bond continues to strengthen as it cures, absorbing shocks, bending with the foam and resisting heat, moisture and everyday solvents.

Application is simple: heat in a standard PUR tank or roll-coater, apply a controlled ribbon or dot pattern, press briefly, and allow the assembly to cool; no clamping fixtures or lengthy dwell times are required.
